Starting April 1, 2025, a section of 19th Street Southeast in Mandan will close temporarily to install a new storm sewer system as part of the Memorial Highway Reconstruction project. The closure extends from 43rd Avenue Southeast to 46th Avenue Southeast and is expected to last about three weeks, subject to weather conditions.

Drivers are advised to use Memorial Highway, 21st Street Southeast, or other alternative routes to avoid delays and ensure smooth traffic flow. When the work on 19th Street is finished, the project will move to 21st Street Southeast, necessitating another road closure. This closure will begin around April 24 and is expected to last about a month. Additional updates will be provided closer to the start date.

Motorists should pay attention to posted detour signs and proceed cautiously when near the construction zone.
