The Agriculture Diversification and Development (ADD) Fund Committee is scheduled to convene on Wednesday, February 26, at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC located at 1640 Burnt Boat Rd., Bismarck, ND.

The agenda includes a business meeting covering minutes, financials, guidelines and application review, and eligibility questions. At 1:20 p.m., Adam Wagner from Vertical Malt in Fisher, MN will present a project totaling $3,185,000 with a funding request of $500,000.

Following this presentation, Greg Campbell from Campbell Inc. in Grafton, ND will discuss a project worth $800,000 with the same funding request of $500,000 at 1:40 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., Kevin Throener from KT Cattle Feeders in Cogswell, ND will present his project valued at $3 million with a requested amount of $500,000.

After a break at 2:20 p.m., Piet Van Bedaf from VanBedaf Dairy in Carrington, ND will discuss his project costing $579,440 with a funding request of $382,430.40 at 2:40 p.m. Casey Murphy from Cows and Co Creamery in Carrington will follow with a presentation on their project worth $1,203,857.75 requesting $340,627.50 at 3:00 p.m.

David Duma from Gideon’s Brewing Company Inc in Bismarck will present last at 3:20 p.m., seeking full funding for his project which totals $261,220.

The committee has allocated time for discussion of projects starting at 4:00 p.m., followed by funding decisions beginning at 4:30 p.m. The meeting is expected to adjourn by 6:00 p.m.
