The organization will use qualifications-based selection criteria to review technical proposals and interview candidates, with a project budget not to exceed $225,000.
This study is important as it will help determine the best location for a future passenger rail station in the region. Interested firms are asked to contact Kimberly Riepl, Principal Transportation Planner at the Bismarck-Mandan MPO, and submit their electronic proposals by 4:00 PM Central Standard Time on Friday, May 15, 2026.
The MPO said that all submitted proposals must include every required element or they will be rejected and denied an interview opportunity. Proposals are limited to eight pages in length, excluding appendix material, cover page, and table of contents. The organization also reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.
