During 2025, the FDA conducted 60 inspections at 54 different food and cosmetics businesses throughout North Dakota, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

These inspections represented the highest number conducted by the FDA for any single industry type in North Dakota, accounting for 82.2% of all inspections in the state that year.

Among the food and cosmetics companies in North Dakota, Healthy Food Ingredients, LLC received the greatest number of FDA citations in 2025.
