Alyssa Giupponi and Alva Norberg of the North Dakota women’s tennis team were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, officials announced on May 12.
The recognition highlights student-athletes who excel both academically and athletically. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Giupponi received All-Summit League Honorable Mention honors this season after recording 12 singles wins, including four in conference play. She also secured eight doubles victories while competing across three singles courts and two doubles courts. Giupponi is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education with a GPA of 3.939.
Norberg tied for a team-high with 14 singles wins during the season and added 11 doubles victories, ten of which came from the second position. She competed successfully in multiple pairings throughout her first year at North Dakota. Norberg completed her degree in Psychology with a cumulative grade point average of 4.0.
