Senator John Hoeven released a statement in recognition of Independence Day. In his message, he highlighted the importance of remembering the efforts and sacrifices that contributed to the founding and development of the United States.

Hoeven emphasized the role of servicemembers in maintaining the nation’s freedom. “As we commemorate nearly 250 years of independence, it is vital that we take time to remember the hard work and sacrifices that have been required to build this great nation. In particular, we extend our deep gratitude to our servicemembers, who have fought throughout the generations to preserve our freedom. The prosperity and liberty we enjoy is only possible due to the security that they have upheld. Mikey and I thank them, while wishing a happy and safe Fourth of July to all North Dakotans,” Hoeven stated.

The senator concluded by extending wishes for a safe holiday to residents across North Dakota.
