The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced on Mar. 25 that the Interstate 94 Exit 156 southbound off-ramp from South Expressway to Bismarck’s Main Avenue will be closed Friday, March 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Mandan. The closure is scheduled so crews can complete maintenance work during those hours, and motorists are advised to take alternate routes.

The temporary closure is intended to ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations on a key section of roadway used by local drivers and freight transporters. The department reminded drivers to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation manages eight district offices across the state for roadway maintenance, construction oversight, and administrative services, according to the official website.
