Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak (R-ND) marks her initial 100 days in the U.S. Congress by focusing on energy policy, agricultural support, and community engagement in North Dakota. Since assuming office in January, Fedorchak has concentrated on policies that advocate for energy producers, cut regulations, and align with state priorities.
“We hit the ground running,” Fedorchak stated, emphasizing her commitment to deregulation and American energy advocacy.
Throughout her tenure, Fedorchak has reportedly engaged with more than 130 North Dakota organizations and taken an active role in energy legislation by cosponsoring resolutions to repeal certain Biden administration policies, including those on energy and emissions. Her focus extends to reinforcing the power grid and initiating a new AI & Energy Working Group.
Fedorchak also prioritizes agriculture, pressing for an expedited Farm Bill and collaborating with House Agriculture Committee Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson (R-PA). Additionally, she has addressed concerns regarding tariffs in discussions with former President Trump’s trade team.
In property rights, she introduced legislation with Senators Hoeven and Cramer on state-owned land development and co-introduced a bill with Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) on conservation easements.
On border and security issues, Fedorchak supports the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act and other related legislation, with a visit to the U.S.-Mexico border to assess border security and policy impacts.
Aligning with conservative priorities, Fedorchak voted on the House budget resolution aimed at reducing spending and enhancing domestic security along with participating in former President Trump’s joint session of Congress.
“Every day my team and I are focused on solving problems for North Dakota citizens and delivering policy solutions. This is just the beginning,” Fedorchak concluded.
