Senator John Hoeven has released a statement following the Senate’s confirmation of Kash Patel as the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). In his statement, Senator Hoeven highlighted Patel’s extensive experience in various roles including public defender, prosecutor, and leadership positions at the Department of Defense, Office of the Director of National Intelligence, and National Security Council.

“Kash Patel has served as a public defender, prosecutor, and in leadership positions at the Department of Defense, Office of the Director of National Intelligence and National Security Council,” said Senator Hoeven. He further expressed confidence in Patel’s ability to lead the FBI with a focus on protecting citizens and prioritizing law and order. “He will focus the FBI on protecting the American people and prioritizing law and order to help make our communities safer,” Hoeven stated.

The senator concluded by congratulating Patel on his new role: “We congratulate Director Patel on his confirmation to lead the FBI.”
