NDHSAA releases 2026 Class B Region softball tournament schedules and pairings

The North Dakota High School Activities Association announced on May 11 the schedules, pairings, and results for the 2026 Class B Region Softball Tournaments. The information is being updated as it is received from region tournament administrators and site managers.

The release provides detailed scheduling for Regions 1, 2, and 4, with dates, times, locations, and matchups for each round of play. In Region 1, play-in games will take place on Thursday, May 14 at higher-seeded schools. Subsequent rounds are scheduled for May 16 through May 19 at Olsen Softball Complex in Hillsboro. Winners of Game 8 (the championship) and Game 9 (state qualifier) will advance to the state tournament.

Region 2’s schedule includes play-in games with dates and locations to be determined. Quarterfinals are set for Saturday, May 16 at higher-seeded sites. Semifinals and final qualifying games will be held on May 18-19 at Southbrook Park in Thompson. The winners of both the championship game (Game 4) and a subsequent state qualifier game (Game 5) will secure spots in the state tournament.

For Region 4, opening games begin Monday, May 18 at Wilton with a series of elimination matches continuing through Wednesday, May 20. State qualifiers from this region will be determined by winners of Game 16 (championship) and Game 17 (consolation final).

Region administrators have not yet released full details or pairings for Region 3; these are listed as to be announced.

The NDHSAA continues to update brackets as results come in from local officials overseeing each regional competition.
