North Dakota State University softball will host Kansas City for a three-game Summit League series at Tharaldson Park, with games scheduled for Sunday and Monday after weather concerns led to a delay, according to an April 17 announcement.

The matchup is significant as both teams compete in the Summit League, and NDSU holds a historical advantage over Kansas City. The Bison lead the all-time series 32-12 since their first Division I season in 2005. Last year, NDSU won two out of three games against Kansas City on the road but lost two of three during their last meeting in Fargo.

The series will begin with a doubleheader at noon on Sunday, followed by the finale at 11 a.m. Monday. All games can be viewed live on The Summit League Network through the Midco Sports Plus App with a subscription. Live statistics will also be available via links on gobison.com’s softball schedule page.

Tickets are priced at $11 for adults and $6 for youth ages 3-17, available at the gate with general admission seating. Parking is free north of Tharaldson Park in Lot N or along 17th Avenue, with overflow parking in Lot RP. Gates open one hour before game time; pets and outside food or drink are not allowed inside.

NDSU has seen strong performances recently, sweeping South Dakota last weekend and earning both Summit League Peak Performer (Jessica Delatorre) and Peak Pitcher (Jocelyn McClary) honors again this season. The team has excelled offensively—hitting more doubles than last year already—and defensively leads the league in double plays per game while topping stolen base statistics as well.

Looking ahead, after hosting Kansas City, NDSU will finish its regular-season road schedule against rival North Dakota starting Friday night.
