North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced the opening of Bridges to Recovery, a new residential treatment program in Jamestown. This facility offers a secure environment for individuals focusing on recovery. Operated by South Central Human Service Center, the program is a clinically managed, high-intensity residential service providing structured, 24-hour therapeutic care.
Bridges to Recovery features a 15-bed capacity and provides both individual and group therapy tailored to each resident’s needs. The facility also offers psychiatric services as needed and connections to ongoing recovery supports. It has streamlined referrals and admissions processes available for public and private providers across the state.
Ashley Zabka, clinical director of South Central, stated, “We recognize the need for quality residential treatment options in our community and across the state.” She added that this facility aims to bridge gaps for those seeking structured support during their recovery journey.
Shauna Eberhardt, HHS clinical policy director, commented on the initiative’s alignment with their mission: “This expansion aligns with our mission to strengthen the behavioral health continuum statewide.” She emphasized that such programs improve outcomes for individuals while supporting local communities.
