The North Dakota Grain Growers Association announced on Sept. 23 that video presentations from its annual September Marketing Seminar are now available for viewing online. The event, which was held virtually this year in partnership with the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers, allowed participants to attend remotely and access recorded sessions at their convenience.
The availability of the seminar videos provides ongoing educational opportunities for farmers and agricultural leaders who may have been unable to attend the live event. Organizers said that holding the seminar virtually not only increased accessibility but also ensured that valuable information could be revisited as needed.
“We’d like to thank everyone that participated in the annual September Marketing Seminar we host in conjunction with the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers. Once again this year the event was held virtually. In addition to the convenience of being able to attend from anywhere, the biggest benefit of holding the seminar virtually is it provides us with video so you can watch any time,” said organizers in a statement.
The North Dakota Grain Growers Association obtains funding through membership dues from farmers and agricultural leaders and promotes economic vitality for farmers through advocacy, education, and market development, according to the official website. The association aims to boost profitability and value-added opportunities for North Dakota farmers through education, leadership, and advocacy efforts while operating statewide in North Dakota and engaging at both state and federal levels. It also collaborates with organizations such as the Midwest Council on Agriculture for advocacy work.
Looking ahead, organizers encourage interested parties to view this year’s marketing seminar online as part of their continued commitment to supporting wheat and barley producers across North Dakota.
