Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak from North Dakota expressed her congratulations to Kirsten Baesler, who has been nominated for the position of Assistant Secretary for Elementary and Secondary Education in the U.S. Department of Education. Baesler currently serves as North Dakota’s Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Fedorchak stated, “Kirsten has dedicated her entire career to education. No one is better suited or experienced to help break down the barriers for children, parents, and teachers seeking high quality education. Her leadership and tenacity will push for reforms that help children get the education they need and deserve to pursue their dreams and lead our nation in the future. I am so excited for Kirsten and even more excited for the world of K-12 education!”
