The North Dakota Grain Growers Association announced on Sept. 18 that presentations from the recent Big Iron Marketing Seminar are now accessible online for those who could not attend the event.

The availability of these materials is significant for growers who rely on ongoing education to stay informed about market trends and strategies. The association said that educating growers is a key focus, and thanked participants for contributing to the success of this annual seminar.

“We’d like to thank everyone that came out to the Big Iron Marketing Seminar earlier this month. Educating growers is one of our key tenants as an organization, and we greatly appreciate the participation that has helped make this annual event a success,” the association said in its statement. It also noted that their partner, the Minnesota Association of Wheat Growers, has posted all presentations from this year’s seminar on their website.

Those interested can find all information covered at this year’s seminar by visiting https://mnwheat.org/2019-september-marketing-seminar/. The North Dakota Grain Growers Association promotes economic vitality for farmers through advocacy, education and market development, according to the official website. The group obtains funding through membership dues from farmers and agricultural leaders, operates statewide while engaging at the federal level, influences state and federal policy to support wheat and barley producers, collaborates with other organizations such as the Midwest Council on Agriculture for advocacy work, and aims to boost profitability and value-added opportunities for North Dakota farmers through education, leadership and advocacy efforts—all according to its official website.

Looking ahead, organizers encourage anyone who missed this year’s event or wants a refresher on topics discussed to review these newly available resources.
