The North Dakota Supreme Court announced on April 29 that the Payment Processing feature in Public Access will be temporarily unavailable starting Thursday, April 30 at 9:00 PM. The court said a new payment processing system is scheduled to go live on Friday, May 1 at 8:00 AM.

The announcement is important for users who rely on the online payment function to complete transactions with the court. During this period, individuals will not be able to use the “Make Payment” button in Public Access.

According to the statement, other features of General Public Access, such as search functions, will not be affected by this change. Only the payment processing capability will experience downtime during the transition window.

The temporary outage is part of an upgrade process aimed at improving service for users of the court’s online platform. No additional background information was provided about reasons for or benefits of the new system.

Users are encouraged to plan accordingly and make any necessary payments either before or after the specified maintenance window.
