The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is organizing a public input meeting to discuss the proposed grade raise on Interstate 94 at Runner Slough, located west of Cleveland. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, from 4 to 6 p.m., and will take place at the Cleveland Community Center in an open house format. A presentation will be given at 4:30 p.m.
The project involves raising the grade on both eastbound and westbound lanes of I-94, situated 1.3 miles west of Cleveland. It includes embankment work on the roadway, removal of current median barriers, extending and installing new culverts, re-establishing median width, regrading and resurfacing, as well as installing riprap.
Representatives from NDDOT will be present to address questions and concerns from attendees. Meeting materials can be accessed online at www.dot.nd.gov/news-and-events/public-input-meetings.
For those unable to attend in person, written comments are welcome if postmarked or emailed by March 19. Comments should include “Public Input Meeting – PCN 24461” in the heading or subject line and sent to Leon Eckroth at NDDOT’s Design Division.
NDDOT assures that requests for reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities will be considered to ensure accessibility during the meeting. Language interpretation and translation services are also available upon request.
