Senator John Hoeven released a statement following the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Senate’s decision places Kennedy in charge of the department responsible for health policies and programs.

Hoeven noted, “President Trump selected Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to serve as HHS Secretary with a mandate to improve the health of our nation.” He emphasized that during discussions with Kennedy, there was an acknowledgment of the need to collaborate with various stakeholders such as farmers, ranchers, and school nutritionists.

Kennedy is expected to focus on enhancing transparency and providing more options for Americans regarding their health care. Hoeven concluded by congratulating Kennedy on his new role and expressed anticipation in collaborating with the Trump administration “to Make America Healthy Again.”
