The North Dakota Department of Agriculture has announced the schedule for the 2025 Pride of Dakota Showcases. These events will take place across various locations in the state, providing opportunities for local businesses to display their products.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring expressed satisfaction with the continuation of these events, stating, “We are pleased to offer events around the state again this year.” He highlighted last year's success, noting that nearly 44,000 people attended and supported hundreds of local businesses.
The scheduled showcases are as follows:
- Dickinson Showcase at West River Ice Center on September 12-13: Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Minot Showcase at State Fair Center, Magic Place on October 24-25: Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Grand Forks Holiday Showcase at Alerus Center on November 14-15: Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Fargo Holiday Showcase at Scheels Arena on November 21-22: Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Bismarck Holiday Showcase at Event Center on December 5-6: Friday from noon to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Goehring emphasized the importance of supporting local products, saying, “North Dakotans are very supportive of products made, manufactured, processed or produced in the state.” He encouraged continued support for local businesses throughout the year.
Pride of Dakota products can be found in many retailers across North Dakota. A full list is available on their website under the Retailers section.
The Pride of Dakota program is managed by the Business, Marketing and Information Division of the North Dakota Department of Agriculture. It offers member companies marketing and promotional opportunities such as in-store demonstrations and showcases. The program also provides educational resources and representation at various marketing expositions. Currently, more than 500 companies in North Dakota are members of Pride of Dakota.
