North Dakota Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the temporary closure of its South Central Human Service Center (SCHSC) and regional vocational rehabilitation office in Jamestown. The closure, effective Monday, Feb. 10, is due to a water main break.
Team members are contacting individuals with scheduled appointments or meetings at the facility. Despite the closure, case managers and other team members will continue to meet with clients in the community as planned. Crisis services remain available around the clock.
"IMPORTANT: People experiencing a behavioral health crisis should call 988 for immediate help."
There is currently no estimated time for when water service will be restored.
