North Dakota Health and Human Services has announced the temporary closure of the North Central Human Service Center and its regional vocational rehabilitation office in Minot. The closure, effective today, Tuesday, Feb. 25, is due to a water line break.

Team members who are able to work from home are expected to do so during this period. The building remains accessible for signing out State Fleet Vehicles.

Staff members are in the process of notifying individuals with scheduled appointments or meetings at the facility about the situation. Case managers and other team members will continue providing services directly to clients in the community as planned. Crisis services remain available around the clock.

For those experiencing a behavioral health crisis, immediate assistance can be obtained by calling 988.

The situation is under monitoring, and team members will receive notifications once repairs are completed and the facility is ready to reopen.
