The Dakota Prairie Grasslands and Grazing Associations Working Group is set to convene on Monday, April 14, at 9 a.m. MT. The meeting will take place at the Stark County Veterans Pavilion located at 801 5th Ave. W, Dickinson, ND.

The agenda for the meeting includes various topics of importance. The session will start with a call to order and introductions. This will be followed by updates regarding the Grassland Grazing Grant projects, where each association will report their progress.

Further discussions will cover project overages and a legislative update. Updates on invasives funding and other agreements will also be addressed. Additionally, there will be discussions about water well conversion, specifically the status of approved wells and the associated memorandum of understanding.

Attendees will review the land use practices desk guide, focusing on conservation practices and administrative costs. Travel management at the Little Missouri National Grassland will also be on the agenda. A check-in on the improvements and road maintenance document will determine its effectiveness for the associations.

Later in the meeting, there will be a staffing update from the US Forest Service.
