The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is calling for public feedback on an amendment to its 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). This amendment includes a previously unpublished project slated for 2025.

The proposed project involves the removal of a structure located south of Mandan off North Dakota Highway 1806, with an estimated cost of $300,000.

The public can access the current STIP on the NDDOT’s website by navigating to “Construction & Planning,” followed by “Transportation Plans & Programs,” and then selecting “Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) 2025-28.”

Comments are requested by May 8, 2025, and should be submitted to Michael Wilz at the NDDOT headquarters located at 608 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or sent via email to mwilz@nd.gov with “2025 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” indicated in the subject line.

"The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities," the department assures. Additionally, language interpretation and translation services will be made available upon request for the meeting.
