Beginning the week of May 22, traffic on Pacific Avenue in Medora, North Dakota, will be redirected through the two north side lanes of a new roundabout at Chateau Road. This change is part of ongoing construction efforts by the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT).

Motorists traveling on Chateau Road will need to turn onto Pacific Avenue from the east side of the roundabout. Pedestrians will be directed to use a new concrete sidewalk along the north side of the roundabout.

These adjustments are necessary to allow continued work on the south side lanes of the roundabout, which is part of a larger project involving the Medora Business Loop and City Section. The project aims to enhance Medora's infrastructure in anticipation of increased visitors due to the upcoming opening of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library.

The NDDOT has expressed its commitment to keeping the public informed as construction progresses.
