The North Dakota Transportation Hall of Honor is accepting nominations for its 2026 class. The program recognizes individuals who have played a significant role in the development of the state's transportation system at the state, county, or local level. Nominations can be submitted online until November 25, 2025.
The award aims to honor those who have contributed to the improvement and advancement of North Dakota's highway system and who highlight the importance of transportation infrastructure to the state and its residents.
“We’re looking for the changemakers who have gone above and beyond to make a lasting impact on North Dakota’s transportation system,” said Laurie Martin, program manager. “From building safer roads to improving how we move people and goods, these individuals help drive progress and strengthen our state. The Hall of Honor is our way of celebrating their vision and leadership.”
Nominees will be evaluated based on several criteria, including their major achievements in North Dakota transportation, contributions to the development of others in the field, special service to the state, and activities that bring recognition to North Dakota transportation on a national or international scale.
