North Dakota DOT seeks public feedback on Highway 2 and Airport Drive intersection

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will hold a public input meeting to discuss possible improvements at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Airport Drive, located west of Grand Forks. The sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, and Wednesday, November 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks. Attendees are advised to use Door 6 on the east side of the building.

The event will follow an open house format with a formal presentation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Representatives from NDDOT and engineering firm Ulteig will be present to answer questions and address concerns regarding the proposed project.

A pre-recorded presentation and additional materials related to the project will be available on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov/public-input.

Those unable to attend can submit written comments by mail or email until November 19. Comments should reference “Public Input Meeting - PCN 24422” in the letter heading or email subject line and be sent to Ulteig Operations LLC Attn: Thomas Fakler, 3350 38th Ave. South, Fargo, ND 58104 or US2AirportDrive@UIteig.com.

NDDOT has stated: "The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting."
