Come for breakfast, networking, and a moderated conversation on leadership.

It’s trite to say that leadership is important. At the drop of a hat, we can think of people who are “leadership material” just as easy as individuals who are lacking in our eyes can come to mind. Good leaders select the tone, set the pace, and are responsible for the overall success of an organization. They can lead from the front or support from behind. Leadership is not a one-size, fits-all uniform.

The discussion will cover lessons learned including the good, the bad, and the potentially ugly – and most importantly how to adjust, flex, revive and thrive when things get ugly. Hear narratives from two business leaders who have made a name for themselves in their organization, their industry, and the state – where did they start, what did they do right, and what paths do they wish they would have taken. Take away insight that you can put into your leadership style to improve you and your team’s success.

Speakers:

  • Paul Steffes, Steffes, LLC
  • Dr. Michael LeBeau, Sanford Health
  • Moderated by: Dr. Polly Peterson, University of Jamestown
