Senator John Hoeven has expressed his approval following the Senate's confirmation of Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence (DNI). Gabbard, a former U.S. Representative and Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve, has been recognized for her military service and experience working with Congress.
In a statement, Senator Hoeven highlighted the importance of having President Trump's team fully assembled to address national threats. He stated, "Given the threats facing our nation, President Trump needs his team in place. Tulsi Gabbard is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve and has served our country on multiple military deployments. Additionally as a former member U.S. Representative, she understands how to work with Congress."
Hoeven also emphasized Gabbard's commitment to national security: "As the leader of our national intelligence community, DNI Gabbard has committed to keep our nation safe."
