Senator John Hoeven released a statement following the confirmation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Senate's decision places Kennedy in charge of the department responsible for health policies and programs.

Hoeven noted, “President Trump selected Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. to serve as HHS Secretary with a mandate to improve the health of our nation."
