The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) has endorsed Senator John Hoeven for re-election to the United States Senate. The endorsement was announced in Bismarck, North Dakota, highlighting Hoeven's consistent support for small business-friendly policies.
Alison Ritter, NFIB North Dakota State Director, praised Hoeven's track record: “John Hoeven has always been a proponent of policies that are good for small businesses. Whether it’s cutting taxes, reducing burdensome regulations, or supporting strong fiscal policy, Senator Hoeven has always kept in mind what these impacts would be to our state’s job creators. He has a 100% NFIB voting record and was a co-sponsor of the Death Tax Repeal Act, which would protect family-owned businesses from the estate tax. Senator Hoeven is truly a champion of small business and someone we can count on in Washington, D.C.”
Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director, also expressed confidence in Hoeven's ability to represent small business interests: “As an NFIB member himself, Senator Hoeven has a great understanding of the issues impacting Main Street. We are pleased to endorse him for re-election and are confident he will continue to be a strong advocate for North Dakota small businesses.”
The endorsement comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization's political action committee funded by voluntary contributions from members beyond their dues. The decision reflects a grassroots evaluation process driven by members.
