The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is requesting public feedback on an amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). This amendment proposes adding three projects scheduled for 2025.

The first project involves replacing a pedestrian bridge in Jamestown, estimated to cost $1,821,069. Another project includes installing signage along Interstate 94 from Buffalo Gap to Medora, with costs totaling $109,294. Additionally, a thin lift overlay on North Dakota Highway 18 south of ND 46 is planned, with an estimated budget of $6,282,500.

Residents and stakeholders can review the updated STIP by visiting NDDOT’s website under "Construction & Planning" in the "Transportation Plans & Programs" section.

Public feedback is encouraged and must be submitted by March 7, 2025. Comments can be directed to Michael Wilz at NDDOT’s Bismarck office or emailed to mwilz@nd.gov with “2025 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” in the subject line. Written comments should include the sender’s name, address, and any relevant concerns regarding the proposed projects.

NDDOT is committed to ensuring accessibility for individuals with disabilities and will consider reasonable accommodation requests for meetings. Language interpretation and translation services are also available upon request.

Public input plays a vital role in shaping transportation projects, ensuring that infrastructure improvements align with community needs. NDDOT encourages residents to participate in this planning process, as their feedback helps guide transportation development across the state.

For more details, visit NDDOT’s website or contact the department directly.
