Wildlife, shooting, fraternal, and nonprofit civic organizations are invited to apply for the Encouraging Tomorrow’s Hunters program. This initiative by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department aims to aid in recruiting, retaining, and reactivating hunters.

The program is designed to support projects and events that foster a positive environment for developing skills and confidence necessary for lifelong participation in conservation-minded hunting and shooting sports.

Applications must be submitted by May 1. The maximum grant available is $3,000. On average, the program funds about 40 club and organization events annually with an average grant of $1,550.

Funds from the grants can be used to cover various event expenses such as promotional printing; memorabilia like shirts, caps or vests; ammunition and targets; as well as eye and ear protection.
