Public meeting on US 83 and ND 23 intersection set for March 31

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is organizing a public input meeting to discuss proposed improvements at the intersection of U.S. Highway 83 and North Dakota 23. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 31, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Max Civic Hall, located at 215 Main St., in Max.

The meeting will follow an open house format, including a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m., focusing on intersection improvement options for U.S. 83 and ND 23. Representatives from the NDDOT will be present to answer questions and engage with public concerns.

A pre-recorded presentation and additional materials will be accessible on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov/public-input. Those who are unable to attend can submit written comments, which must be postmarked or emailed by April 15, under the heading “Public Input Meeting - PCN 24129.” Comments can be sent to Sara Cahlin at 608 East Boulevard, Bismarck, ND 58503, or via email at scahlin@nd.gov.

The NDDOT commits to considering requests for reasonable accommodations to ensure the meeting is accessible to people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will also be available upon request for the meeting.
