The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) has announced it is seeking public input on a proposed amendment to the 2025-2028 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). The amendment would add a new project for 2025 involving a mill and overlay on 10th Avenue East in Dickinson, with an estimated cost of $2,450,000.

Residents can review the current STIP by visiting the NDDOT’s website at www.dot.nd.gov and navigating through “Construction & Planning” to “Transportation Plans & Programs,” then selecting the “Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) 2025-28” link.

Comments regarding the amendment should be submitted by August 20, 2025. They can be mailed to Michael Wilz at NDDOT, 608 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or emailed to mwilz@nd.gov with “2025 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” as the subject line.

“The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting,” according to the department.
