The Tri-Level bridge at the intersection of Interstate 29 southbound and Interstate 94 eastbound in Fargo will be reduced to a single lane on Monday, August 18 and Tuesday, August 19. The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) announced that the closure is necessary for deck sealing and a routine inspection of the bridge.
Traffic control measures will be active from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days. During this period, the right lane and right shoulder will be closed, with an 18-foot width restriction in effect. Speed limits will also be lowered in the work zone to ensure safety.
The NDDOT advised drivers to remain alert, follow posted detours, and anticipate possible traffic congestion. "The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to pay attention, follow the signed detour and be aware of traffic congestion," stated the agency.
This scheduled maintenance is part of ongoing efforts by transportation authorities to keep infrastructure safe and operational for all users.
