The North Dakota Department of Transportation has announced that the southbound bridge over the Pembina River on Interstate 29, located at mile marker 214, will undergo a routine inspection on August 20. The inspection is scheduled to take place between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
During this period, traffic control measures will be implemented. The right lane and right shoulder of the bridge will be closed, and vehicles wider than 17 feet will not be permitted through the area. Speed limits in the work zone will also be reduced.
Minor traffic delays are expected as a result of these restrictions. Motorists are advised to pay attention to posted signs, follow the signed detour, and remain aware of potential traffic congestion.
