The City of Fargo has scheduled a public input meeting on August 28 to gather feedback on proposed interchange alternatives at 64th Avenue South and Interstate 29. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Fargo Parks District Sports Center, in the Alex Stern Family Foundation Room 112, located at 6100 38th Street South.

The format for the meeting is an open house, with a formal presentation planned for 5:30 p.m. The project under discussion involves adding ramps to the existing overpass at 64th Avenue to provide direct connections to I-29. Multiple alternatives are being reviewed as part of an environmental study.

Representatives from the City of Fargo, North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT), and Bolton & Menk, Inc. will be present to answer questions and address concerns related to the project.

A pre-recorded presentation and additional materials regarding the interchange proposal are available online through the Fargo Streets website.

Community members who cannot attend can submit written comments or statements about the project by September 12, either by mail or email to Blue Weber at Bolton & Menk.

According to organizers, “The City of Fargo will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting.”
