The 2025 American Honey Princess, Emilia Burnham, is scheduled to visit North Dakota from October 19 to 25. During her stay, Burnham will participate in various events across the state, many of which are aimed at students.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring commented on the significance of the visit. “It is fitting that the American Honey Princess is visiting North Dakota as we are the number one producer of honey in the nation,” Goehring said. “Emilia will be traveling around the state as part of our North Dakota Agriculture in the Classroom program to teach about the importance of honey bees and pollination in our everyday lives.”
While many of Burnham’s appearances will be student-focused, the public is invited to meet her at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch in Bismarck on Sunday, October 19, from 1-4 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about honey production, take photos with Burnham, get autographs, and sample North Dakota honey.
