North Dakota State Radio supervisors had the chance to honor one of their law enforcement colleagues last week when they presented the Mobile Operator of the Year Award for 2022 to Trooper Shawn Fulwider, of the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The award is given each year to an emergency response partner who uses proper radio etiquette while coordinating with dispatchers and other units, and for maintaining professionalism during radio calls.

The nominators for the award said, “Shawn is always so helpful in the field. He is always calm and clear on the radio no matter what situation may be going on. We all really appreciate him. We had some great nominees this year again and, as always, the votes are close. We appreciate all our law enforcement.”

Congratulations and thank you for all you do, Shawn!
