The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has established a navigational safety zone under U.S. Coast Guard authority for a bridge construction project on the Missouri River. This measure includes an idle speed-only area and a specific navigation channel for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad bridge project.

According to the department, the designated navigation channel will be clearly marked using green and red floating buoys to guide the public through the construction zone effectively. Additionally, various types of lighted floating buoys will mark the project area.

The zone covers a section extending from the west bank north of the project staging area to the east bank. It continues south for approximately 1,500 feet before returning to the river's west bank.
