The City of Wahpeton is organizing a public input meeting to discuss planned improvements for Fourth Avenue South and Fourth Street South. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Central Time at Wahpeton City Hall, located at 1900 Fourth Street North.
The session will follow an open house format, with a formal presentation set for 5:15 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the project and ask questions directly to representatives from the City of Wahpeton and Interstate Engineering, Inc.
Planned work includes replacing water mains, gate valves, water services, sanitary sewer mains and manholes, storm sewer infrastructure, curb and gutter, pavement, aggregate base, concrete driveways and sidewalks, ADA ramps, trees, signing, pavement marking, topsoil and seeding. The affected areas are Fourth Street South from the BN railroad tracks south to the intersection with Fourth Avenue South and on Fourth Avenue South from Sixth Street south to its intersection with Fourth Street South.
