North Dakota Environmental Quality issued the following announcement.
Today is #NationalSaySomethingNiceDay, and at the #NDDEQ we would like to say THANK YOU to all of our followers and citizen scientists in North Dakota. If you picked up someone else's trash, THANK YOU. If you recycled your soda can, THANK YOU. If you are paddling a kayak on the Minnesota, Bois de Sioux and Red rivers taking water samples to bring awareness to the importance of water quality like @expeditionalpine --THANK YOU. If you are planting trees in your community, THANK YOU. If you are working hard to keep our state clean by organizing river pickups or trash collection in your community, THANK YOU. If you are practicing no-till or other progressive farming techniques, THANK YOU. If you are teaching our youth, planting a garden, reporting a spill, helping provide clean drinking water, implementing advanced pollution controls, or properly disposing of hazardous waste, THANK YOU! Every single act matters! North Dakota is a better place because of you!
