Senator John Hoeven of North Dakota has issued a statement following the results of the 2024 election, which saw President Donald Trump reelected and Senate Republicans regaining the Senate majority.

In his statement, Senator Hoeven expressed congratulations to President Trump on his reelection. He emphasized the intention to collaborate on key issues that affect North Dakotans. These include economic growth, addressing inflation, expanding American energy production, and supporting small businesses such as those run by farmers and ranchers in North Dakota.

Hoeven also highlighted national security priorities. "At the same time," he stated, "we’ll work to improve our national security by securing the border and continuing our efforts to rebuild our military."

With both President Trump in office and a Republican majority in the U.S. Senate, Senator Hoeven looks forward to working collaboratively "on behalf of the American people."
