A serious vehicle crash occurred on May 31 at 4:16 PM, approximately 11 miles south of Tioga, involving a single vehicle rollover. The incident took place on a gravel road at the intersection of 56th Street NW and 106th Avenue NW. Weather conditions were smoky due to Canadian wildfires.
The vehicle involved was a 2011 GMC 2500 pickup truck. The driver, a male juvenile from Williston, was injured in the crash. He was using a seatbelt at the time of the accident and faces charges of criminal vehicular injury. Two passengers, also male juveniles from Williston, were in the vehicle. One sustained serious injuries while the other was injured; both were wearing seatbelts.
All three individuals were transported to Tioga Medical Center for treatment. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash. Agencies responding to the scene included NDHP, Williams County Sheriff’s Office, Tioga Police Department, Tioga Fire Department, and Tioga Ambulance.
