The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration has allocated $2,950,000 for terminal expansion projects at two North Dakota airports. Hector International Airport will receive $2,000,000 to proceed with Phase 3 of its expansion plan. This phase includes constructing four new gates, rehabilitating holding rooms, and expanding ticket and baggage handling areas. The North Dakota delegation previously advocated for this project by writing a letter to the DOT in August.
