USDA grants $200K to boost rural electric and telecom development in North Dakota

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development has announced a grant of $200,000 to the Rural Electric and Telecommunications Development Center. This center operates under the North Dakota Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives and the Broadband Association of North Dakota.

This funding will enable the center to provide various services to businesses and cooperatives. These services include technical assistance, financing, education, consultation, enhancing economic development, and improving the quality of life in rural areas throughout North Dakota.
