President Donald Trump said that COVID-19 cases will soon decline sharply following the release of vaccines developed by pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Mordena.

North Dakota leads the country in infection rates with 11.378 per 100,000.

“Today we are on the verge of another American medical miracle. People are saying this is one of the greatest miracles in the history of modern day medicine… together we will soon end the virus and we will save millions of lives both in our country and all over the world. Nobody thought this was possible, to do what we have done in a period of less than nine months,” Trump said.

He was speaking at the Operation Warp Speed Summit hosted at the White House.
