Associated Builders and Contractors MN/ND endorsed Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) | X
The Associated Builders and Contractors of Minnesota and North Dakota (ABC MN/ND) announced their endorsement of U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) and his reelection campaign for the U.S. Senate.
A letter written by Jon Boesche, the director of government affairs for ABC MN/ND, announced the organizations support of Cramer.
"ABC endorses lawmakers and candidates who champion free market principles and who defend the merit shop philosophy in the construction industry," Boesche wrote. "This philosophy encourages competition and a free-enterprise approach to construction that is based solely on merit, regardless of labor affiliation."
ABC MN/ND has over 20,000 employees across the state of North Dakota, spread out across its 340 merit shop construction industry members.
"Thank you to the Associated Builders and Contractors MN/ND (ABC) for the endorsement of my reelection!" Cramer said in a post on X reacting to the endorsement. "This organization represents the heart of our construction industry, and I'm proud to stand with them as we work to build a stronger North Dakota. Together, we can continue to promote growth, innovation, and opportunities for our skilled workforce."
Sen. Kevin Cramer was first elected to the United States Senate in 2018, after serving three terms as North Dakota’s At-Large Representative in the House of Representatives. Cramer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.
A native of Kindred, North Dakota, Cramer and his wife, Kris, have five children and six grandchildren.
