“For nearly 250 years, our nation has stood as a beacon of freedom, granting us liberty and prosperity unlike anywhere else around the world. On Independence Day, and every day, we are grateful for the many blessings and opportunities we enjoy as Americans. While we celebrate our freedoms, we pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed in our Armed Forces to protect and preserve our great nation.
