More than 1,100 deer licenses are set to be available for North Dakota's 2025 deer gun season. These will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis starting August 13 at 8 a.m. Central time. Both residents and nonresidents who have not yet received a lottery or landowner license can apply online through the Game and Fish website at gf.nd.gov.
